tearin' it up!

Well, the ugly cabinets are gone... and so is most of the kitchen wall!  This little window was hiding behind the sink.  Dig that 1895 woodwork!

There's the dining room corner, where the chimney used to be... too bad we'll never know how it all looked with the fireplace and everything.  One thing we do know, it'll really look better with new drywall and new wood floors.  Someday, it may be... Daniel's record zone!

Say goodbye to this tree, and to this concrete backyard.  Why does Daniel look like Mr. Magoo?  Perhaps our house is haunted by the spirit of Mr. Magoo... Let's see, checkbook, screwdriver, coffee... yup, ready for another day on Laveta!

Soon to be our cute, tiny, vintage bathroom... believe it or not!

Wear this mask when entering our home sweet home!

  1. OK, you gotta do some research and tell us what that crazy little sink window was for? I'm guessing to light the sink for afternoon dish washing, but, who knows? Dying to know why that was there!!

  2. Thing is the window doesn't go to the outside, just to another little room where the water heater now resides.... I was thinking a service window maybe? To pass plates through? But our little house doesn't seem posh enough for that kinda thing. Who knows!
